Morning Flight to Tel Aviv. Arrival and transfer to Bethlehem. On the way pilgrimage at the Holy Monastery of Saint Georgios in Lydda and visit to tne new city of Jerusalem. Check-in at a hotel in the Bethlehem area.
Full day visit to the old city of Jerusalem. Pilgrimage to the All Holy Church of the Resurrection (Horrendous Golgotha, Holy Sepulchre, et al.). Visit to the Patriarchate of Jerusalem and subsequently to the Path of Martyrdom (Portico of St Veronica, the Praetorium, the Prison of Christ, et al.), as well as to Gethsemane (Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos, the Tomb of the Virgin Mary, the Garden of Betrayal and Prayer, et al.).
Full day visit to the greater region of the Galilee. Nazareth (church of the Annunciation), Cana of Galilee, Mt. Tabor, Capernaum, city of Tiberius and to the there Holy Monastery of the Twelve Apostles.
Visits to the area of Bethlehem. Holy Monastery of St. Theodosius the Cenobiarch, the Lavra(Monastery) of St. Savvas the Sanctified, shepherds’ field, and the church of the Nativity(Cave of the Nativity and cave of the infants).
Breakfast and departure with the luggage. Morning visits to Bethany and to the Holy Monastery of Chozeba. Departure for Jerusalem. Visits to the Holy Sites on the Mount of Olives (site of the Lord’s Ascension and the “Little Galilee” – church of the Holy Apostles), followed by check in at a hotel in Jerusalem.
17:00 Hrs. – Attendance of the Service of the Γ’ Salutations to the Most Holy Theotokos, at the All-Holy church of the Resurrection.
Visits to Samaria (Jacob’s well), to the Jordan River (blessing of the waters), to the Mount of Temptation, to the Holy Monastery of St. Gerasimos the Jordanite, and to the Holy Monastery of the Prophet Elisha.
SUNDAY OF THE ADORATION OF THE CROSS
Divine Liturgy at the All-Holy church of the Resurrection and visit to the reception hall of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem. In the afternoon transfer to Tel Aviv airport. On the way passage from Ein Karem. Evening Flight to Athens.
