Itinerary

DAY 1
City of Corfu
Arrival at the Port/Airport of Corfu. Transfer to the town of Corfu and check-in at the hotel. Free time to get to know the city center, the “Heart of Corfu” which has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In the evening, visit to the Old Fortress of Corfu.
DAY 2
Monastery of Pantokratoros, Nymphai Village, Monastery of the Theotokos of Paleokastritsa.
Full day excursion to the northern part of the island. Holy Monastery of Pantokratoros which is located on the highest peak of Corfu, Holy Monastery of Pantokrator Kamarela, and the village of Nymphai. Stop for optional lunch and then visit to the unique waterfalls of Corfu in the area. Finally, visit to the Monastery of the Most Holy Theotokos of Paleokastritsa and return to the city of Corfu.

DAY 2
DAY 3
Tomb of Saint Arsenios of Cappadocia, Pontikonissi, Church of Saint Spyridon, Metropolitan Church, Antivouniotissa Byzantine Museum.
The first visit of the day is to the tomb of Saint Arsenios of Cappadocia in the “Kanoni” area, the spiritual father of Saint Paisios the Agioreite. Then a visit to the area of Pontikonisi and the church of Blacherna. Free time to admire the view and for optional lunch or coffee.

Return to the city of Corfu. Visits to the Churches of Saint Spyridon (holy relics of the Saint) and the Holy Metropolitan Church dedicated to the Virgin of Spilaiotissa, where inside the church, and in a silver reliquary, are kept the relics of the Empress of Byzantium, Saint Theodora of Augusta.

The day ends with a visit to the Byzantine Museum of Antivouniotissa, which is housed in the Holy Church of the Most Holy Theotokos – Our Lady of Antivouniotissa.

Optional visit to the Casa Parlante Museum: A unique museum that brings history to life.
DAY 4
Corfu Town - Free Time - Departure
Optional visits if there is time:
- Achillion Palace
- Kumquat Distillery
Transfer to the Port/Airport for departure.
